DIVORCE FEES

We will always talk to you about fees at our first meeting. set out below some of our typical fixed fees and estimates. We would need to agree a fixed fee quote with you before undertaking any work on a fixed fee basis so these might vary because of your circumstances.

We can offer monthly payment plans and in suitable cases we can even access loan facilities to allow you to pursue particular applications to the Court you might not otherwise be able to fund

 

1.Divorce Fixed Fee 

We charge a fixed fee of £600.00 plus VAT for undefended divorce/civil partnership dissolution which includes all of the paperwork to dissolve a marriage. There is also a Court Fee to pay of £612 to issue divorce proceedings.

Total costs are therefore usually £1,332.00 including VAT.

One-Off Fixed Fee 

First consultation and case assessment only (up to one hour) with letter of advice £360.00 including VAT

First consultation and case assessment only  (up to one hour) with letter of advice and a letter to ex-partner £420.00 including VAT

First consultation and case assessment only  (up to one hour) on cohabitation cases £360.00 including VAT

2.What isn’t included in our fixed fee?

• The Court fee that will need to be paid of £612 (No VAT) [NOTE: reductions or remissions may be available depending on income].

• Resolving how assets, debts, pensions and maintenance will be dealt with - the marital assets - including filing a financial order with the court.

• Representation at the Court for Hearings

• Time spent on work after issue of Form A formal Proceedings (contested Financial proceedings)

• Representation by Specialist barristers from Chambers.

• Resolving any issues that have arisen concerning children.​​​​
