DISPUTE RESOLUTION FEES

Legal disputes can feel overwhelming and unpredictable. We are here to take that weight off your shoulders. Our litigation and dispute resolution team focuses on providing straightforward advice and a clear path forward, so you feel supported and confident to resolve the matter and get back to your life or business.

We offer a fixed fee of £3,500 (+VAT) to try and resolve your matter amicably.

If the matter becomes contentious (sophisticated negotiations are entered into, court proceedings are started, mediation is agreed, etc.) then we will discuss the additional work involved and our fees will switch to a timed fee. Timed fees are based on the time worked on your matter based on the hourly rate of the fee earner as set out below. Payments are ordinarily paid on a monthly basis according to the time spent working on your matter during the month.

Timed Fee of Fee Earners on Hourly rate (plus VAT) varies between:

Grade A I Legal Counsel, Head of Department, Solicitor Advocates, Associates I £330

Grade B I Solicitors PQE 3-5 years, Senior Fee Earner I £310

Grade C I Solicitors PQE 1-3 years I £290

Grade D I Solicitors NQ 0-1 years I £270

Grade E I Trainee Solicitors I £250

Grade F I Legal Assistant I £230

We understand that legal costs can be expensive, particularly in the context of disputes where there is no set timeframe for resolution. We will always communicate our costs with you and look to balance the costs of resolution with your expenditure so that you feel confident in your instruction.

One way we aim to help is by offering payment plans based on the work expected to be undertaken, your living expenses and what payments you can realistically afford each month. We can discuss payment plans with you where an agreed amount is paid by you on an agreed date each month, with any outstanding legal costs to be paid upon settlement of the matter.
